Brian Conley is to star as Ebenezer Scrooge for a strictly limited season of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at The Dominion Theatre for 41 performances from Monday 7th December 2020 to Tuesday 15th December, 2021. THE SHOW HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO A PREMATURE CLOSE DUE TO THE NEW TIER 3 COVID RESTRICTIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN PUT INTO FORCE IN LONDON. He will be joined by Jacqueline Jossa as Emily/Ghost of Christmas Future, Matt Jay-Willis as Bob Cratchit, Lucie Jones as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Sandra Marvin as Mrs Fezziwig and Martyn Ellis as Mr Fezziwig.

Cedric Neal will be The Ghost of Christmas Present, Jeremy Secomb takes the role of Jacob Marley, Rebecca Lock will play Mrs Cratchit and Sam Oladeinde will be Fred Anderson/Young Scrooge.

Joining them will be Simbi Akande, Will Arundell, Nicole-Lily Baisden, Lizzie Bea, Joshua Gannon, James Gant, Shirley Jameson, Kurt Kansley, Alex Lodge, Matthew McDonald, Minal Patel, Jemma Revell, Rebecca Ridout and Lee Van Geleen. .

The show will also feature three teams of children on rotation. The role of Tiny Tim will be shared by William Barker, Osian Salter and Brodie Edwards, while the remaining childrens roles will be shared by Victoria Alsina, Delilah Bennett-Cardy, Asanda Abbie Masike, Charlie Mclellan, Nicholas Parris, Gabriel Payne, Angelica-Pearl Scott, Sasha Watson-Lobo and Katherine Wilson.

This new, musical staged concert based the 1994 adaptation of Dickens' tale follows the iconic Scrooge as he is visited by three spirits over the course of one nightof Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent's A Christmas Carol which brings Dickens' fable to life: Ebenezer Scrooge, a mean-spirited miser, does not believe in the power of Christmas. But on a Christmas Eve filled with memorable characters, spectacular songs, ghostly apparitions and journeys to the past, present and future, Scrooge acknowledges his mistakes and discovers the joy of redemption.

With a sparkling Broadway score played by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, starring TV comedy legend and West End star Brian Conley (9 to 5, Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang, Barnum, Jolson [Olivier nomination], Hairspray)and an all-star cast of over 50 still to be announced.

The creative team is led by director Shaun Kerrison, with Freddie Tapner as musical director and casting by Jim Arnold
