Wicked the MusicalWhen Dorothy famously triumphed over the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz this was only one side of the story.

WICKED is the untold story of an unlikely friendship between two girls who meet as sorcery students: the blonde and popular Glinda and the misunderstood (and green!) Elphaba.

After a meeting with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz their lives take very different paths. Glinda's unflinching desire for popularity means she is seduced by power while Elphaba’s determination to remain true to herself have shocking and unexpected consequences for her future.

Their extraordinary adventures in Oz ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Music & lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holman. Directed by Joe Mentello, sets designed by Eugene Lee with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
