BEYOND THE BARRICADE TOUR
Beyond the Barricade presents original West End musical hit songs performed by a cast of past principal performers from Les Miserables and other West End shows.
The performers include Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Rebecca Vere, together with an ensemble of talented musicians.
David Fawcett spent two years in the West End production of 'Les Miserables' where he played Brujon, the Bishop of Digne and the leading role of Jean Valjean on many occasions, having previously spent 13 months in the original Manchester production of the show. Other musical theatre roles have included, Jesus in the rock musicals 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Godspell', the Emcee in 'Cabaret' and Sky Masterson in 'Guys and Dolls'.
Katie Leeming joined Beyond the Barricade after playing Eponine in the West End and most recently featured in the Royal Variety Performance and the Classical Brits Awards as part of the Les Miserables company.
Rebecca Vere's theatre credits include Lily Garland in “On the Twentieth Century” at the Union Theatre, Soloist in “Beetlemania” at Gothenburg Opera House, Marian in “Robin and the 7 Hoods”, “South Pacific” both at the Royal National Theatre. Jellylorum in “CATS” UK Tour, Cosette in “Les Miserables”, Palace Theatre, “Beyond The Barricade” on tour and Royal Albert Hall, Jeannie in “Hair” at The Old Vic, Sally Bowles in “Cabaret” at Queen’s Theatre, Columbia in “Rocky Horror Show” at Duke of York’s, Sue in “Slice of Saturday Night at Arts Theatre, Ellie Greenwich in “Leader of the Pack” at Duke of Yorks, “Aspects of Love” and “Face” UK tours. All four performers featured in the 25th Anniversary concert of Les Miserables at the O2 Arena.
They have been touring for over 10 years and Beyond the Barricade’s latest production features songs from Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Phantom Of the Opera and many more major hits ending with a spectacular finale from Les Miserables!
Their main section of West End hits will include a Jersey Boys medley, songs from Love Never Dies and material from Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Blood Brothers and Les Miserables.
