ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER'S CINDERELLA

The world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical adaptation of  Cinderella with a contemporary twist is now playing at London's Gillian Lynne Theatre

Carrie Hope Fletcher is playing the title role. She has appeared in Heathers (Theatre Royal Haymarket), The Addams Family (UK Tour), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (UK Tour), Mary Poppins (Prince Edward Theatre), and as Fantine in Les Miserables at the newly named Sondheim Theatre). Please note Georgina Onuorah will be playing the role of Cinderella every Wednesday matinee from 1st September, and then switching to each Monday from October 25th

Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (The View UpStairs, Flashdance, Death of a Salesman and In the Heights) plays the iconic wicked stepmother with Caleb Roberts as Prince Charming, Ivano Turco as his brother Prince Sebastian (who has to take over as heir to the throne when Charming goes missing).. They will be joined by Rebecca Trehearn who will play the Queen, Laura Baldwin and Georgina Castle as the Stepsisters and Gloria Onitiri as the Godmother.

Also in the show are Georgina Onuorah as the Ensemble / Alternate Cinderella, Sam Robinson as Dorian, Giovanni Spano as Gawain and Vinny Coyle as Arthur.

The full company includes Michael Afemaré, Lydia Bannister, Michelle Bishop, William Bozier, Lauren Byrne, Sophie Camble, Tobias Charles, Nicole Deon, Jonathan David Dudley, Dominic Adam Griffin, Michael Hamway, James Lee Harris, Leah Harris, Kate Ivory Jordan, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, Andy Rees, Alexandra Waite Roberts, Lauren Stroud, Georgia Tapp and Matthieu Vinetot.

The production will be directed by  Laurence Connor (School of Rock, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), with Gabriela Tylesova on scenic & costume design and Joann Hunter providing the choreography.

DISABLED ACCESS TO ALW'S CINDERELLA

Infra-red system with headsets and neckloops. Induction loop at Box Office. Headsets available in foyer.
Access dogs are allowed inside the auditorium, staff can also dog-sit for four dogs per performance in the Manager’s office.
No steps through double swing doors into the foyer. Box Office to the right with lowered counter. Escalator up from the main foyer to the mezzanine level and then a further 32 steps up to the Stalls, or 41 to the rear Stalls. 65 steps up to the Dress Circle (threesteep steps between rows). Venue is carpeted throughout and all staircases are highlighted with handrails on either side.  Theatre opens 45 minutes before the performance..
Adapted toilet en route from the lifts to the auditorium..
