GLORIA ESTEFAN'S ON YOUR FEET!

tour of gloria estefan's on your feetGloria and Emilio Estefan's smash-hit musical On Your Feet has een playing in London direct from Broadway for a strictly limited season at London's Coliseum to 31st August 2019. After its run in London the show will go on an extensive UK tour opening in Birmingham in September and curently ending in May 2020 with a West End return then on the cards.

On Your Feet! is a jukebox musical based on the lives and music of 26-time Grammy Award-winning husband-and-wife team Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Directed by two-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys) and book by Academy Award® winner Alexander Dinelaris(Birdman) with a score built around the Cuban-fusion pop music made famous by the duo, including Get on Your Feet, Conga, 1-2-3 and Rhythm Is Gonna Get You. It also features an original song called If I Never Got to Tell You, with lyrics by Gloria Estefan and music by her daughter Emily.

Christie Prades will play Gloria Estefan/Philippa Stefani at certain peformances: George Ioannides Emilio Estefan and Madalena Alberto will play Gloria Fajardo with Karen Mann as Consuelo.

Completing the cast will be Hollie Cassar, Francisco Del Solar, Katie Dunsden, Eduardo Enrikez, Laura Friedrich Tejero, Denzel Giskus, Francesca Lara Gordon, Yonly Leyva Desdunes, Elia Lo Tauro, Martin McCarthy, Alicia Mencía, Ciro Lourencio Meulens, Carl Patrick, Clayton Rosa, Julia Ruiz Fernandez, Shanna Michelle Slaap, Dawnita Smith, Frank van Hengel, Despina Violari and Alain Zambrana Borges.

Klaudia Gjergji, Holly McDonagh, Emily Perra will share the role of ‘Little Gloria’ and Santiago Huertas Ruiz, Jonathan Naranjo, Alejandro Puentes Motato will share the role of Nayib/Young Emilio/Jeremy.

After a pre-Broadway engagement in Chicago in Summer 2015, On Your Feet! opened on Broadway on November 5, 2015 It opened to positive reviews and box office success receiving seven Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, three Drama League Award nominations and a Tony Award nomination for Best Choreography

After playing on Broadway for two years, there are now several international productions in the pipeline with the Dutch adaptation being the first to launch in Utrecht in October 2017. Also international tour productions in Germany, Italy, Mexico, Japan and France have been announced.
