Winner of two Tony Awards, the musical MJ is currently playing on Broadway and follows the life and work of the famous singer Michael Jackson,MJ centres around the creation of Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World tour. As Jackson sings, he gradually reveals his memories and key moments in his career come to life. Myles Frost, who originated the role of Michael Jackson in New York and ultimately won a Tony Award, will reprise his performance to London with more casting news to follow..

Written by  Lynn Nottage (Sweat) the musical is directed and choreographed by Royal Ballet associate artist Christopher Wheeldon. Musical supervision is by David Holcenberg and the orchestrations and arrangements are by David Holcenberg and Jason Michael Webb.The creative team also includes designer Derek McLane, costume designer Paul Tazewell, sound designer Gareth Owen, projection designer Peter Nigrini and hair and wig designer Charles LaPointe.

With casting to be revealed, the show will start previews at the Prince Edward Theatre from 6th March 2024, with a press night on 27th March . The venue is set to play host to The Temptations Musical Ain't Too Proud from spring 2022

The Michael Jackson musical, features some of the artist’s greatest hits throughout his career including "I'll Be There," “Billie Jean,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Human Nature,” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin.”

Entrance to the auditorium through a double EXIT door opening outwards on Greek Street, then up a very short ramp to Box 1 where there are 2 spaces for wheelchair users and 2 companions. Transfer seating is available to row A.
Adapted toilet on right-hand side of foyer. You need to go out of the exit on Greek Street and back to the foyer entrance on Old Compton Street.
