beverley knight in the bodyguardTHE BODYGUARD award winning musical based on the smash-hit film, is returning  to London at the Dominion Theatre for a limited six month run starring Beverley Knight playing the role of rock star Rachel Marron and Ben Richards playing Frank Farmer the bodyguard. She has to belt out more than 10 numbers in the show which features Whitney Houston classics hits including: Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, I'm Your Baby Tonight,Run to You, I Have Nothing, How Will I Know, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I Will Always Love You.

The rest of the cast includes Rachel John (Nicki Marron), Carole Stennett (alternate Rachel), Mark Holden (Bill Devaney), Alex Andreas (Tony), Dominic Taylor (Sy Spector), Matthew Stathers (Stalker) and Glen Fox (Ray Court). hey will be joined by Omari Bernard, Faye Best, Pablo Ceresuela Torres, Lisa Darnell, Charles Hagerty, Emma Joy Hopkins, Ibinabo Jack,Christopher Jeffers, Verity Jones, Annie Kitchen, Phoebe Liberty, Elliot Powell, Raul Naranjo Garcia, Mary Lynn Tiep, Michael Wade-Peters, Kyle Wardlaw, Matthew Wesley, Emmy Willow and Mark Willshire. Keaton Edmund, Max Fincham, Jaden Oshenye and Mickell Stewart Grimes alternate the role of Fletcher, Rachel Marron’s young son.

The Bodyguard is a 1992 American romantic thriller film with Frank Farmer as a former Secret Service Agent-turned-bodyguard who is hired to protect Oscar nominated music superstar Rachel Marron after she receives a number of threats against her life and a small bomb detonates in her dressing room.

She is not scheduled to perform on Monday evenings or midweek matinees including any additional midweek matinee performances.)

Infra-red system 10 headsets and 10 neck loops available. Ask the duty manager upon arrival at the theatre.
Guide dogs are permitted inside the auditorium
Platform lift down 10 steps. 3 spaces for wheelchair users at XX50, YY50, ZZ50 (the last 2 on a slight slope). Transfer seating to any aisle seat. People with motorised wheelchairs or wheelchairs (maximum of 3) can go in Box B the entrance is to the side of the theatre on Bainbridge Street.
