Son of a Preacher Man TourCraig Revel Horwood is to direct a tour of Warner Brown's new musical Son Of A Preacher Man:which is a funny and sweetly touching new musical featuring the greatest hits of Dusty Springfield. Directed and choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood, the 2018 tour stars Alice Barlow (Kat), Michelle Gayle (Alison) and Michael Howe (Paul) with Nigel Richards as the famous Preacher Man's son and heir, Simon. Joining them will be Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong, Kate Hardisty and Michelle Long as the fabulous singing Cappuccino Sisters.

Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, Son of a Preacher Man has a book by Warner Brown. It tells the story of three strangers who find themselves drawn to the site of an old '60s Soho bar, The Preacher Man.

The show features the music of Dusty Springfield, including "The Look Of Love", "I Only Want To Be With You" and the title song.

It looks at the lives of three broken hearted strangers who are seeking the man who can heal them. The Preacher Man, is a swinging 1960s Soho joint where the kids danced the night away to the latest crazes and dared to dream of love, while the legendary owner, The Preacher Man himself, dispensed advice to cure the loneliest of hearts. Producer John Sachs said the show will use a lot of songs associated with Dusty Springfield, including the title track, which was featured on the classic 1968 Dusty In Memphis album, though it's not about her at all.
