SHREK THE MUSICAL
Shrek the Musical is based on the story and characters from the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animation film Shrek which is the first of a much loved series of irreverent fairy tales.
Shrek (played by Dean Chisnall ) and his loyal steed Donkey (played by Richard Blackwood) set off on an adventure to rescue the beautiful - if slightly temperamental - Princess Fiona (Girls Aloud Kimberley Walsh) from her tower, where she is guarded by a fire breathing lovesick dragon. Neil McDermott ( EastEnders) is playing the dim-witted Lord Farquaad.
Joining them will be Jon-Scott Clark (Peter Pan), Ste Clough (Pig), Ricardo Coke-Thomas (White Rabbit), Blaise Colangelo (Teen Fiona, Tweedle Dum), Lucie Downer (Baby Bear, Blind Mouse), Oliver Eyre (Papa Ogre, Pig, Thelonius), Alice Fearn (Sugar Plum Fairy, Gingy), Lucy Maria Gill (Humpty Dumpty, Blind Mouse), Clare Halse (Tweedle Dee), Bradley Jaden (Papa Bear), Aaron Lee Lambert (Pig), Marc Leslie (Mad Hatter), Alastair Natkiel (Captain of the Guard, Wolf, Bishop), Landi Oshinowo (Dragon, Ugly Duckling), Joseph Prouse (Guard, King, Pied Piper), Ashley J Russell (Mama Ogre, Mama Bear), Jonathan Stewart (Pinocchio), Lucy Tapp (Queen, Witch), Karli Vale (Fairy Godmother, Blind Mouse) and swings Stephanie Bron, Lee William Davis, Patrick George, Alexandra Grierson, Rosanna Hyland, Grant Murphy, Damien Poole and Leigh-Anne Stone.
The roles of Young Shrek and Young Fiona will be shared by Samantha Allison, Chorlène Biron-Monnier, Lauren Dawes, Madeleine Hill, Emilia Jones and Sophie Wythe.
