RADIO TIMES TOUR
Gary Wilmot and Sara Crowe are starring in the tour of Noel Gays Radio Times.
It is set in London's Criterion Theatre in the Spring of 1941 during the Blitz where the cast of BBC’s light-entertainment wireless show Variety Bandwagon prepare to do their bit for the war effort.
With half the cast missing, an officious producer and no script, their live broadcast to America seems doomed to fail until star of the show, Sammy Shaw, arrives with minutes to spare, a script and Hollywood movie star Gary Strong. Can the cast deliver a show that will win the hearts of the American people? And can Sammy hang on to girlfriend Olive’s love with old flame Gary back on the scene?
Radio Times is a heart-warming musical filled with quick-fire gags and classic songs from Noel Gay (Me And My Girl), including Run Rabbit Run, Hey Little Hen, My Thanks To You, I’m Sending My Blessings, I took My Harp To A Party and There’s Something About A Soldier.
THIS TOUR ENDED ON 8TH DECEMBER 2012
