PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT
Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical is based on the Oscar® award-winning film starring Terence Stamp and Guy Pearce.
It tells the story of Tick (Richard Grieve), Bernadette Don Gallagher) and Adam (Oliver Thornton): two gay men and a transexual woman who are a very glam performing trio who live in Sydney but want to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback.
Other cast members include Ray Meagher (Alf from Home and Away ) playing Bob the Mechanic, Gemma O'Duffy, Charlotte Riby and Lucinda Shaw/three Divas, Newley Aucutt/Miss Understanding, Selina Chilton/Marion, Daniele Coombe/Shirley, Tristan Temple/Jimmy, Kanako Nakano/Cynthia, Steven Cleverley/Farrah/Young Bernadette and John Brannoch as Frank.
Completing the company are James Cohen, Tim English, Liz Ewing, Steven Grace, Hugo Harold Harrison, Matt Krzan, Frances Mayli McCann, Lucy Newton, Callum Nicol, Ian Oswald, Will Peaco, Olivia Philip, John Phoenix, Graham Vick and Graham Weaver.
Priscilla is a heart-warming and uplifting adventure of the three friends' search for love and friendship on a battered old bus (Priscilla). But they end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed of.
The show has a truly dazzling array of outrageous costumes and loads of dance-floor classics including Downtown, What's Love Got To Do With It, I Love The Nightlife, I Will Survive, Pop Muzik, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Hot Stuff, MacArthur Park, Boogie Wonderland and Finally.
