LADY DAY AT EMERSON'S BAR & GRILL

lady dayMulti  Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald is to  make her West End debut as the legendary jazz icon Billie Holliday  in LADY DAY AT EMERSON'S BAR AND GRILL at Wyndham's Theatre with performances beginning on June 17th  for a limited season through to September 9th . (Press night Tuesday 27 June).

Prior to Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill this summer, Audra McDonald will perform four concerts at the Leicester Square Theatre hosted by Seth Rudetsky and featuring her husband Will Swenson as special guest from 12 to 15 April.

This is the second  time she  has announced a West End production - the original run scheduled for seven month ago was postponed due to her unexpected pregnancy.

Audra McDonald, a Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winner, is one of Broadway’s biggest stars and holds the record for Tony-winning performances including her Best Actress winning performance for Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill.

DISABLED ACCESS TO THE WYNDHAMS

Infra-red system with 20 headsets. Collect headsets from stalls cloakroom.
Guide dogs allowed in auditorium or staff will dog-sit in the foyer.
Entrance is through a side entrance to the right of the main entrance on Charing Cross Road with 3 steps down into a box with a central pillar and a 90cm parapet. Space for 2 wheelchair users and one companion. Transfer seating available to aisle seats in the Stalls (2 max). Stalls entrance is through a second side entrance on Charing Cross Road and down 8 steps.
No disabled toilet. One toilet in the box but not be possible to access this in a wheelchair. The ladies toilet off the Stalls has been slightly adapted. From the foyer bar, the men's and women's are up 8 steps with a further 2 steps down inside the entrance to each. 1 step down to non-adapted toilet accessed via St Martin's Court (level access).
