JEKYLL & HYDE TOUR
Marti Pellow is a very successful solo recording artist and front man of Wet Wet WetHe is returning the musical theatre stage in a new tour of the Broadway hit musical Jekyll and Hyde.
Jekyll and Hyde is based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark tale with Pellow starring as the brilliant, obsessive scientist Dr Jekyll whose violent and sadistic alter ego Edward Hyde wreaks havoc across Victorian London.
Marti’s theatre credits in the West End, on Broadway and on tour include appearing in Chicago and The Witches of Eastwick.
The musical's score includes songs such as Someone Like You, A New Life, and This Is The Moment.
Marti Pellow will be playing Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde with the remainder of the cast for the tour of Jekyll and Hyde including: Emma/Sarah Earnshaw, Lucy/Sabrina Carter, Utterson/Mark McGee, Sir Danvers/David Delve, Lord Savage/Jacob Chapman, General Glossop/Martin Dickinson, Bishop of Basingstoke/Jon De Ville, Poole/James Gant, Lady Beaconsfield & Nellie/Amira Matthews, Bisset/ Daniel Robinson, Sir Archibald Proops/Matt Stevens, Simon Stride/Michael Taibi with ensemble members Grace Gardner, Alexandra Grierson, Carolyn Maitland and Rob Copeland and Kerri Watt Ensemble / Swing
Jekyll and Hyde has been written by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn with music by Leslie Bricusse (Scrooge, Doctor Doolittle). The Broadway production of the show ran for over 1500 performances between 1997 and 2001.
