EVA CASSIDY OVER THE RAINBOW TOUR
Hollyoaks star Sarah Jane Buckley will be playing the lead role of Eva Cassidy in a tour of a musical about her life.
Having just finished a very successful tour, Over The Rainbow is touring again next year starting on 26th January in Camberley.
Other cast members include Maureen Nolan (Barbara Cassidy) and BBC's Any Dream Will Do finalist Rob McVeigh.
Over the Rainbow is a moving and haunting tribute to one of music's lost greats following the life of the legendary Eva Cassidy through dramatic scenes and stunning live renditions of her most beautiful music.
This award winning show has received plaudits from the Eva Cassidy Band and members of her family and contains projection and original footage from Eva Cassidy's life, from an early age to her first professional gig aged 18, her first meeting with her boyfriend and mentor Chris Biondo, a rabble-rousing rendition and recording at Blues Alley with Chuck Brown and culminating in her poignant and tragic death at the age of 33.
Eva's talent was later discovered by Terry Wogan who promoted her music to the top of the album charts in the UK and now Europe, Australia and throughout the World.
From its first performance in 2004 Over the Rainbow has played to sell-out performances and standing ovations throughout the UK and Europe.
