MATTHEW MORRISON CONCERT TOUR
Matthew Morrison's debut single “Summer Rain” and self-titled debut album has been released by Universal Records, plus you can see the Glee star in action on his first ever Ireland and UK tour which kicks off on June 6th in Dublin.
Matthew will be showcasing tracks from his new album, plus a variety of ‘mash ups’ from popular ‘Glee’ songs.
Matthew Morrison is best known as the eternally optimistic high school teacher and glee club director, Will Schuester, on FOX television's hit comedy series “Glee.” The show ranks as the #1 entertainment program on broadcast television among Adults 18-34, Teens and Female Teens. Matthew has been nominated for Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe awards, and shared the 2009 SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Award for Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical, for “Glee.”
But he also has some impressive musical theatre credits with his first big Broadway break as heartthrob Link Larkin in the musical Hairspray. He was later nominated for a Tony Award for his role in The Light in the Piazza and received a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for 10 Million Miles. Morrison also starred in the Tony Award-winning revival of South Pacific at New York’s Lincoln Center Theater.
The timing of the concerts coincides with his debut album entitled Matthew Morrison which features duets with Elton John and Gwyneth Paltrow.
