SIERRA BOGGESS
Sierra Boggess was born and grew up in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from university she moved to New York and landed the role of Binky in Princesses which was a new musical. Sierra then joined the Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables where she understudied the role of Cosette.
In 2005 Sierra was picked by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Hal Prince to originate the role of Christine Daae in a new production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
In November 2007 Sierra made her Broadway debut creating the title role of Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. During her 2 years with the company she received both Drama League and Drama Desk nominations and was the recipient of a Broadway.com Audience Award for “Favorite Breakthrough Performance.”
Sarah has sung at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops, at Town Hall for “Broadway by the Year: the Musicals of 1954” and performed at Lincoln Centre as a part of the American Songbook Series.
She is currently playing the role of Christine Daae again opposite Ramin Karimloo, but this time in Love Never Dies at the Adelphi Theatre. This is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.
