James Gaddas

James Gaddass is probably best known as the evil Governor Grayling in ITV’s Bad Girls which he played for four years 2002 to 2006.

Before Bad Girls he played Vinnie Sorrell on Coronation Street from 1999 to 2001, appeared in four series of Granada’s Medics, A Class Act, TheCamomile Lawn, Backup and on the BBC’s Doctors. Other television credits include Casualty, Holby City, Vincent, Star Hunter, Heartbeat and most recently The Bill.

His stage credits include playing Dad in Billy Elliot - The Musical and Art - both in the West End: The Messiah at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. He has also appeared in Peter Pan at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells and at The Curve Theatre, Leicester where he played the roles Mr Darling and Captain Hook.

James Gaddas has recently been playing the role of King Arthur in the tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot. He is due to take over the role of Bill Austin in Mamma Mia! in London's West End from 11th June.
