Hannah Waddingham

Hannah Waddingham is best known for her original performance of the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot for which  she received an Olivier Award.

Hannah received a further Olivier nomination in 2010 as Best actress in a musical or entertainment for her performance in the 2009 Menier Chocolate Factory revival of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music when she played Desiree Armfelt.

She played Suzanne Valadon in Charles Aznavour's Lautrec for which she won two Musical Theatre awards (for Best Actress and Best Newcomer). Other theatre credits include Christine Warner in The Beautiful Game (Cambridge Theatre), Satan in Rod Stewart's Tonight's The Night (Victoria Palace Theatre) and Rizzo in Grease (Victoria Palace Theatre).

Hannah Waddingham's TV and screen credits include: How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, Doctors, The Only Boy for Me TV film, My Hero, Hollyoaks: Let Loose, Footballers' Wives, William and Mary and Coupling.

Hannah recently played the Witch in the Sondheim/Lapine Musical Into the Woods at the Open Air Theatre Regent's Park and has just finished playing the Wicked Witch of the West in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium.

She had a role in the Les Miserables movie and has just finished appearing as Lilli Vanessi in Trevor Nunn's Chichester Festival Production of Kiss Me Kate which transferred into the Old Vic Theatre.
