DAVID BEDELLA

David Bedella BiographyDavid Bedella is an American actor who was born in Chicago and is perhaps most noted for his role in Jerry Springer - The Opera where he played both the Warm Up Man (in the First Act) and Satan in the Second. He received a 2004 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Musical Actor for this role in 2004.

More recent theatre credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch: Oh What A Night: HMS Pinafore: Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neeley playing Caiaphas: Alexander Molokov in a concert version of Chess at the Royal Albert Hall and a West End gala performance of Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens.

David Bedella appeared in Holby City where he played plastic surgeon Dr Carlos Fashola and he has also played minor roles in a number of movies including Batman Begins, Red Light Runners and Alexander.

He played Frank N Furter in the 2006/2007 & 2009/2010 UK tour of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show.

Most recently he has been performing a limited run in Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre playing the lawyer Billy Flyyn and is next due to appear in Torch Song Trilogy.
