Ben Richards

Ben Richards is probably best known for playing the role of PC Nate Roberts in ITV’s The Bill. He previously pllayed Justin in BBC’s Holby City as physiotherapist Justin Fuller and as Bruno Milligan in 28 episodes of Footballers’ Wives.

In 2006 he became a judge with Stacey Haynes, Arlene Phillips and Wayne Sleep on Strictly Dance Fever which was hosted by Graham Norton. He also appeared on Celebrity Stars in their Eyes as Ricky Martin. 

But Ben also has an extensive list of musical theatre credits including playing Danny Zuko in Grease at the Victoria Palace, Nathan Detroit opposite Don Johnson’s Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre, Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever at the London Palladium and the leading role of Jerry Lukowski in the London Cast of Broadway hit musical The Full Monty.  

Ben's other West End credits include Smokey Joe's Cafe at the Prince of Wales Theatre, Radio Times at the Queens Theatre and Pish Tush in Hot Mikado 

He made his film debut co-starring in the 60s musical film Julie and the Cadillacs, followed by Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis alongside Rik Mayall and Jane Horrocks.  

Ben played the role Tick/Mitzi in Priscilla Queen of the Desert at the Palace Theatre in London's West End. 

Last year he appeared in the tour of the Dolly Parton Musical 9 to 5 and is now going on tour with Rock of Ages playing Stacee Jaxx.
